Leyland Welcome New Repiano Player, Ben Jarvis

Leyland Band are delighted to introduce Ben Jarvis as their new repiano cornet player.

Young in years, Ben has already packed an enviable amount of music excellence into his life. He began playing at the age of 9 under the tutorledge of Danny Brookes – ex Leyland Band principal trombone.

He has already performed solo recitals internationally in Austria, Spain and at Ground Zero in New York. In 2013 he played in London to win the Woodard Schools Junior Musician of the Year, and at the age of 15 became a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

Hailing from Preston, Lancashire, Ben moves to Leyland after a successful spell as principal cornet of the Hebden Bridge Band.
