The multi-award-winning group will perform a joyful selection of music on the theme of The Roaring ‘20s, from Irving Berlin to Cole Porter and George Gershwin. Well-known favourites such as Anything Goes and Singin’ in the Rain, plus a performance of Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue performed by pianist David Daniels, are certain to give the 2022/23 season the rousing start it deserves. The Band received news yesterday 28th November 2023, that significant structural issues in the ceiling of the Lancastrian Suite at Chorley Town Hall have been identified and all forthcoming events there have been cancelled on safety grounds. An immediate search for an alternative venue in the area has been unsuccessful. The Band will of course offer full refunds to the many who have booked in advance.
