Fanfare team are joined by Jane Constance to celebrate graduation success
The University of Central Lancashire classes of 2020 and 2021 graduates gathered to celebrate their achievements in spectacular ceremonies supported by Leyland Band’s Fanfare team and singer Jane Constance.
Singing ‘Feeling Good’, Jane wowed the assembled graduates and their families, perfectly capturing the mood with her wonderful performance.
Throughout the week, Jane and the Fanfare team performed at 12 ceremonies to 2500 graduates and their families.
Jane is a second year student at UCLan, but is already an internationally renowned artist. In 2015 she won the French TV show – “The Voice Kids” and released her first album “A travers tes yeux”. In 2017, Jane was named “UNESCO Artist for Peace” in recognition of her work promoting the rights of people with disabilities.
Born in Mauritius, Jane has been blind since birth. She began singing at an early age and learning piano at the age of seven, and went on to study at the Royal School of Music in London. What a fantastic talent!
