Alec began playing at the age of 11 at Bishop Rawsthorne School in Croston.

Lancashire born and bred , Alec has played with pretty much every brass band in Lancashire including  Eccleston, Coppull , Hogarths , Wingates , Longridge, Pemberton and most recently Rainford. He is looking forward to teaming up with our Solo Baritone Ashley Jeffers, a partnership that takes them back to their Pemberton days.

Alec is ”looking forward to playing amongst a friendly and talented set of people and hopes for some plenty of success on the contest stage”.

Outside of banding , Alec lives with his wife, has two children and works for H.M.P.
