The association between Leyland Band and Lancashire Youth Brass Band moves up a gear with the announcement of two new joint concert dates.
Following the phenomenal success of the joint event held in Chorley in February, Leyland are delighted that Lancashire Youth Brass Band will be performing again with Leyland in two contrasting concerts. The first will be a festive themed spectacular held at Ormskirk Civic Hall on 15th December 2016, bringing seasonal favourites performed by Lancashire’s finest.
LYBB will also join with Leyland in the 2nd concert of Leyland’s popular Matinee Concert Series on Sunday 14th May 2017. The 2017 series will also see the return of the Red Admiral Music Academy in concert 3 on the 25th September 2017. Both LYBB and RAMA are committed to the development of young players – in the case of RAMA, young means 8 to 80 years young! – which mirrors Leyland’s ambitions to give the opportunity for young players to perform in first class concerts.
