Maestro Richard Evans leads Leyland in concert with a very special connection
On Thursday 27th March 2014, Leyland Band will perform for the first time in the ancient St Mary’s Church, Penwortham.
The concert is destined to be a very emotional one for Leyland’s conductor emeritus, Richard Evans as it is in honour of the Mayor of Penwortham, councillor Rosemary Robinson – Richard’s sister.
Richard wanted to mark Rosemary’s year long term as Mayor with a musical tribute which will also generate proceeds for Rosematy’s chosen charities, RNLI and Galloway’s Society for the Blind.
