After the run away success of Leyland’s 2015 St Georges Day Concert, the band will present two fantastic concerts to celebrate the Saint’s day in 2016. Conducted by Thomas Wyss, the concerts will feature a wonderful mix of music with a patriotic flavour, including well known favourites by Elgar, Vaughan-Williams  and Holst.

Leyland will make its debut at the revamped Ormskirk Civic Hall on Sunday 17th April, in one of the first major events there since the hall changed hands.

We are looking forward to supporting the future success of the hall and are already looking forward to turning this debut into a regular appearance. The concert will be a great opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy celebrating England’s Patron Saint – flags welcome!

 

The following Thursday, 21st April, sees the band return to home ground to present the celebrations for the second year at Wellington Park. The 2015 concert was a sell out and demand is already high for this years appearance – order tickets now and don’t miss out.
