Beth’s playing career began to take off at the age of 14 when she played flugelhorn horn at Uppermill brass band, and also became a junior member of the Royal Northern College of Music. She has solo cornet for Wingates  and Hepworth bands. Then before joining Leyland she enjoyed a successful spell as Principal Cornet of the Longridge Band.
