Brass Attack VI – the annual showcase for brass of all ages and abilities – is launched on Monday 10th July.

 

Leyland’s flugel star John Doyle hosts the concert at the Lostock Hall Academy which this year features local school bands, Lostock Hall Youth Band, Lostock Hall Memorial Band and a finale set by the Leyland Band. This year marks the 6th year of a growing ‘Brass Attack’ series, with Leyland starring in each event.

A number of Leyland players, John included began their music careers in Lostock Hall Academy (High School), Lostock Hall Youth Band, or both. So the ‘Brass Attack’ series is a great way to inspire the next generations of talented brass musicians.

The concert kicks off at 7.00pm, with admission £5.00 (tickets on the door).
