From Strauss to Ed Sheeran, and Abba to Elvis, Leyland’s latest recording sessions had it all.

Over the weekend of 27th/28th & 29th April, Leyland, conducted by Thomas Wyss, completed demo recordings of the new music catalogues of two Swiss publishers – Music-Verlag Frank and Power Music. Over 60 items were recorded to feature in the latest publications. The new items include marches, solos, original compositions and great arrangements for bands of all abilities.

Leyland will be premiering some pieces in our May concerts, enhancing the band’s already eclectic repertoire, including a new arrangement of Abba’s “Arrival” – an ‘arrival’ timed perfectly for the just announced reunion of the Swedish super group.

Watch out for the new catalogues due out in the summer, and hear some choice items in concert with Leyland.
