Leyland Band are pleased to announce Anthony Higham has signed on 2nd Horn

 

Anthony first played with the Leyland back in 2010 and has always maintained a close connection with the band, particularly with John and Rebecca Doyle in the horn section. A busy work schedule over the past few years always got in the way of a permanent move to Leyland, but a recent change in career together with the appointment of Thomas Wyss as MD proved an opening which was too good to turn down.

Thomas Wyss commented ” I am delighted to welcome Anthony to the band. A player of his calibre and experience will enable the band to continue to go from strength to strength”

 

Anthony added  “To join a band with the quality of Leyland is a real honour for me, in particular the horn section of John, Rebecca and Dave. These are players are of the highest quality and I am really looking forward to developing as a player with them. Thomas Wyss is a man I have the upmost admiration for having played under him at Northop and also having worked with him professionally in the past. His passion, committment and musicality is second to none.
