Leyland Band patrons’ vote for their player of the year

It was Principal Percussionist Ben Thomas who was voted Patrons’ Player Of The Year at the annual event. Clearly a favourite with our patrons, Ben has now won the award for the second year running! Recently appointed Chairman Chris Doran presents Ben with the award.

Becoming a Patron

Many of the bands we are up against receive big sponsorships to help them in their efforts, but we rely entirely on donations, support from our patrons and ticket sales from our concerts to pay for the running of the band and attending competitions.
