Leyland to return to Warrington in support of St Rocco’s in 2017

St Rocco'sLeyland Band is pleased to announce we will be returning to the fabulous acoustics of Warrington’s Parr Hall to raise money for St. Rocco’s Hospice on Sunday the 12th March, 2017.  After the success of last year’s “Brass for St. Rocco’s” concert the band were quick to secure a date for next year, hoping to make it even bigger and better than before.

St Rocco’s Hospice provides specialist care and support across Warrington, helping those who are coping with a life-limiting illness.  It costs around £3.7 million each year to run the hospice – which means they need to raise £10,000 each and every day just to keep running.

Band Chairman Chris Doran commented: “The reception from the audience at last year’s event was fantastic, and we are looking forward to putting on another afternoon of fantastic music for this great cause.  Last year’s event was a great start, and we’d love to build this into an annual event for both the band, and St. Rocco’s Hospice.  As a Warrington resident myself, I’m well aware of the great work the Hospice does and how much fund raising they have to do in the local community.  It’s fantastic that the band can come and help in the best way they know – through fantastic live music”.
